Pacific Railroad Company BOP Nature of Firm Traffic includes aggregates - silica sand, ballast, crushed stone, asphalt - scrap paper and feed grains - 1,000 cars a year. This line was built by the St. Louis, Brownsville & Mexico Railroad and opened in 1925. The line came under Missouri Pacific Railroad control and was absorbed by that company in 1956. Short line service started February 2, 1984. The company is independent.
